Start broad enough to get a useful result
Enter a distinctive word from the title and leave the other filters open. If you remember only a performer, choose Cast in the search mode. Director mode can help you follow a filmmaker from one familiar movie to another. Available alternate and translated titles are also searched with the production.
Then narrow the result
Choose Movies or Series, add a genre or original language, and use a year only when you are reasonably sure. The date interval supports a wider period when you remember an era rather than an exact release. Running-time filters apply to films, not to the total length of a television series.
Find a particular episode
Try Dark S1E3 in search. The season and episode numbers help target the guide. An episode number beyond the recorded range should not produce a made-up chapter. If another service groups episodes differently, compare the episode name and air date.
Keep identity details together
Try The Diplomat UK or The Diplomat US to distinguish the two 2023 shows. If a translated title is confusing, compare the cast and original name. Resetting the filters is a useful recovery step, not a failure: it shows which restriction was excluding the title you wanted.
